Lynn's experience includes many years working in an NHS hospital involved not just in foot-care but holistic care for the terminally ill patient. She loves all aspects of Podiatry and finds it rewarding to improve mobility for the disabled and enjoys entertaining/distracting a nervous child to enable a procedure to be happily carried out.
Lynn sees all the patients herself and so takes a limited number of patients. At times she has to maintain a waiting list. She knows a wide variety of medical professionals so is usually able to refer to the most appropriate specialist.
She is a great believer in preventative medicine and the multidisciplinary team where medical professionals from a variety of specialisms work together to gain knowledge to the benefit of the patient. Part of that team is, of course, the patient and Lynn very much takes into account their lifestyle and what the patient wants to achieve when designing an individual care plan
Lynn has competed herself in Triathlon, Marathon and show-jumping. She is well placed to understand the needs of the athlete. Lynn is equally happy to use her training in sports medicine for the benefits of less active patients to achieve higher walking tolerance.
